Friend of mine spotted this at a mall in Kokomo, Indiana. Think I may have to make a trip up there.

In other news, my beloved Jeep was in a fender bender last night. Fortunately I was the second car hit in a chain reaction, so the one in the middle absorbed most of the extra energy; it just bumped my spare tire, which seems unharmed.

The car that initiated the accident was in far worse shape than either of ours, and judging by the duct tape that looked like it was holding his hood down before the accident, this wasn’t his first rodeo.

Idiots. The world is overrun with them.

I’m glad y’all are okay! I saw my first car accident today, which involved a Ford Escape and a Nissan Versa. It was higher speed and the Versa looked worse than that Accord. I hope everyone in today’s wreck is okay, as it gave me a weird feeling the rest of my drive home.

Fortunately it was relatively low speed, at a stoplight ; he may have been a (likely) distracted idiot, but he did catch his stupidity in time to slam on the brakes. I heard the screeching behind me and immediately knew how the story was going to end.

If only the young woman behind me hadn’t been quite so close, but I’m just grateful all I apparently lost was an hour of my time.

At least y’all were able to pull over and get out of the way. That happened in the big wreck I was in last year, as my car was still driveable. In this case, it looked like the Escape and the Versa are gonna be totaled, so traffic was probably a mess for the next couple hours.

Worst I think I’ve seen is early October, never September. It’s still summer in September, come on.

At any rate - glad the Jeep and you are good. Looks like it wasn’t the first, but might be the last rodeo for that Honda.
